Westport Community Garden started in 2009 at Westport Quay and has a lovely sunny aspect. We are a community-based group of gardeners or aspiring gardeners, and we welcome all new comers. We meet on Tuesday & Thursday, 10.30am - 1.00pm.  We are committed to biodiversity so we use sustainable methods of gardening using locally-sourced manures, make our own potting compost, and use organic ways of growing food (so no chemicals).

We are expanding the garden and developing a native landscape as far as the Greenway for walkers and interested nature-lovers. 

We run classes from time to time with student and adult groups.
