Coill an Chúir - Red kite hazel wood - is an emerging mixed native species woodland garden in its 10th year. It is a project to preserve our ecological heritage based on local provenance species. There is also an orchard, ponds, hedgerows, and native wildflower meadow. There is a path but sections can be steep. Free living honey bee hives are on the route.

From Westport town, travel up High Street over the Greenway bridge, turn left, then continue straight up the hill. The garden is at the 7th house on the left with a low dry stone wall.
